Ben had a beautiful brilliant cut diamond that had been passed down from his grandmother. He knew he wanted to propose with this family heirloom, but the setting didn't suit his vision for a meaningful piece that would symbolize his relationship with Asheton.
We worked together to distill his concept into this nature-inspired ring that features two sinewy branches fusing into one around the center stone. The Legacy of his grandmother is given new life, and we were even able to refine the gold from the original setting to help fund the project!
The 6mm center diamond is hammer set in a contemporary bezel, and complemented by several smaller white and red diamonds flush set around the band.
As a special surprise for everyone, Ben popped the question in the Heather Beck Designs Studio (where he had lured his sweetie under false pretenses) - and yes, she said yes!
